Distance and Continuing Education Unit has taken steps to establish a Grievances committee to help students who have registered under DCEU. The proposed grievances committee was approved at the 39th Management Committee of DCEU and 348th Senate of the University.
The composition of the committee is coordinators of External Degree programs, two - three senior staff members. Senior Assistant Registrar of DCEU will act as the convener of the meeting. The committee shall meet once a month to discuss and make recommendations on students request in order to be forwarded them to the relevant Board of Studies for Distance and Continuing Education of the faculties. The meeting shall be held at Distance & Continuing Education Unit.
The following matters related to students’ request that has been received by DCEU shall be submitted to grievances committee;
However, DCEU first attends to the students’ request received to see the possibility of providing quick response within the existing guidelines, if not it shall be submitted to the Grievances Committee for necessary recommendation.
When there are specific issues, a representative from the relevant faculty can be consulted or summoned for necessary support to find the solutions.

එවැනි ගැටළුවක් ඇති සිසුන් පහත ආකෘති පත්රය සම්පූර්ණ කර ඊට අඳාල ලිපි ලේඛනද සහිතව දූරස්ථ හා අඛණ්ඩ අධ්යාපන ඒකකය වෙත පැමිණ හෝ තැපැල් මඟින් ඉදිරිපත් කල හැකිය.
